The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), implemented by the Federal Government, provides incentives in the form of STCs to individuals and small businesses to embrace renewable energy solutions.

STCs can be claimed for eligible solar water heaters and air source heat pumps in Victoria. However, the number of STCs depends on various factors such as the size, model of hot water system, the region of installation and the value of STCs fluctuates with the market conditions.
